This is a great Korean Pub to come with friends! The highlight of Misoolkwan is, without a doubt the food. The menus offers a blend of traditional Korean dishes with a modern twist, catering to both Korean cuisine lovers and newcomers. I especially enjoyed the pork belly with the tomato sauce and the kimchi pancakes, both are bursting with flavor, expertly seasoned, and cooked to perfection! The banchan are also a standout feature. They offer a delightful variety. The service was phenomenal, everything came out quickly and prompt. The ambiance is loud, there is Kpop playing over the speakers with TV's showing the music videos. However, this was still enjoyable experience to drink, hangout with friends, and enjoy delicious Korean food! less
Was recommended to check this Korean pub out by some of my Korean friends. Located on the 3rd level of The Source, this quite popular pub has awesome drinks and food. We got there around 8pm and there was already a wait. We opted to sit outside for faster service because we were starving. We ordered the fried beef intestines, Supreme bone-in chicken wings, and kimchi pork belly. All 3 were super good. The beef intestines came with sliced green onions, a spicy aioli, and a spicy soy sauce. The chicken wings were coated in a sweet and spicy sauce with this yogurt drizzle. They were really juicy and flavorful! The pork belly came with roasted garlic and kimchi. It was like a friend bossam. Service was awesome too. Our server was quick and nice. They are also a non-tipping restaurant too, which was nice. 10/10 would recommend and come back again. less
Located in The Source OC on the 3rd floor. The place was busy with a wait when we came on a Sunday night around 6pm, but we were able to get seated right away in their outdoor patio area. This place serves mostly Korean bar food, and menu is somewhat limited. The vibes were great and they were playing the best music (Backstreet Boys, Mariah Carey, etc). We ordered their bean sprouts and bulgogi (somewhat spicy), jjambong (seafood noodle soup), and garlic flavored boneless fried chicken wings. Everything we ordered was flavorful and delicious, and three dishes were perfect for our family of four! The seafood noodle soup comes on a gas burner and the noodles are already precooked and kept on the side. The soup came with lots of fresh seafood (mussels, clams, shrimp). The bulgogi with bean sprouts was really good too. My kids loved the chicken and it hard great salty, sweet, garlicky flavor. It was very bready though and kind of soggy from the sauce, so not very crispy. Service was fast and food came out fast even though they were so busy! Portions were generous, and the most pleasant surprise was when we got the bill it said "NO TIP" in big bold letters. There isn't even an option to leave tip when you try to pay. I'm sure all fees were folded into their menu prices, which is so refreshing. Love the "what you see is what you pay" approach because tipping culture has gotten way out of control. less
Great food and service! Went here on a Saturday night and the first thing you'll notice is their ambiance - their music and interior gives a lively and sociable atmosphere. Aside from drinks we ordered several things. I highly recommend their stir fried pork belly and kimchi. I loved how they added full roasted garlic to their dish, and their kimchi was unique -- they had it as a tomato sauce mixture that complemented the crispy pork belly. Other dishes we had were the boneless chicken, rose tteokbokki, and seafood & kimchi pancake. I think the chicken could have used less batter to make it crispier overall. All were great and definitely kept you full. Overall it's a great place to go with people for good food, drinks and socializing! less
This is one of the first few Pocha places I've been to and I must say, I loved it. The food was amazing and I feel like the rice wine cocktails were pretty strong too. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of The Source OC and parking was very easy to find in the garage. There was a wait for our group of 5 when we came at around 9:30 PM on a Wednesday evening but it wasn't too long. As soon as we walked in, the ambiance seemed kind of loud and busy, but I think that's normal as it is a korean pub. - - Strawberry Ice Blended Makgeolli (4/5): The drink was strong in my opinion, I didn't really taste the strawberry flavor and only tasted the rice wine. But it got the job done HAHA - - Rose Tteokbokki (5/5): Yummy, creamy, spicy. Checks all the boxes off of my list. I'm also happy with the amount of ramen that the dish came with because most places skimp you on that. - - Deep Fried Beef Intestine (5/5): I think this was my favorite dish out of everything that we ordered. It was crunchy, flavorful, and melts in your mouth. I was hesitant at first but I'm ended up loving it the most. - - Bone-In Garlic Chicken (2/5): I wanted to like this but frankly, it just had too much batter. It felt like majority of what I was eating was just the crust and barely any meat. - - Stir-Fried Pork Belly and Kimchi (5/5): Delicious!! The kimchi was so good and tastes so much better than the store bought ones I typically have at other korean restaurants. The combination of pork belly + kimchi + soju = perfection. - - Yogurt Soju (5/5): You can NEVER go wrong with a bottle of yogurt soju LOL Fun place to go to when you want to keep the party goin after a night out with friends. Good food, good drinks. The prices are pretty high but the dishes are large portions that are meant to be shared. One complaint that I do have is that when we were trying to get our server's attention, it seemed as though he looked in our direction but completely ignored us. When we tried again, he just helped the table in back of us and didn't come back to see what we needed. I understand it might be busy but at least acknowledge us and let us know you'll be back so we know that we're on your radar. less

I used to have to drive all the way to Koreatown for some Korean pub food but am glad to discover a place that's much closer. They also open late!! Service is good, you may have to yell a bit to order but what do you expect. The food is SO GOOD and comes in sharable portions, and be warned, majority of the menu is very indulgent. We've only had their slushy soju drinks and some flavors are a hit or miss (e.g., the strawberry one is meh). I plan to return to try more of their drinks and to have their popping cheese corn again. It's a good place for groups and to get buzzed. less
